Depending on hydraulic oil volume, the cooling capacity ranges from 8KW to 80KW. RG split type chillers are highly recommended. If the split type chiller can't be installed at customer site, alternative A series integrated air coolers or L series water cooled circulating chiller can be chosen for cooling Tensile Testing Machine.

-What is Tensile Testing?

Tensile testing is a fundamental materials science and engineering test in which a sample is subjected to a controlled tension until failure. Properties that are directly measured via a tensile test are ultimate tensile strength, breaking strength, maximum elongation.

-Why need a chiller for Tensile Testing?

In the simplest of explanations, Tensile Testing require cooling and ideally a recirculating chiller supplies that cooling. Testing machine relies on the reciprocating motion of the hydraulic cylinder to apply the load, and the hydraulic oil needs to be maintained at about 30℃ through the coolant.

For example, AUWII RG split air cooling system RG1026A chiller with a cooling capacity of 30 KW @ 25 and a temperature range of +5°to +35°C is more suitable.
