How to Select a Recirculating Chiller for Atomic Absorption Spectrometer(AAS) ?
来源: | Author:AUWII | Time:2021-06-23 | 1242 Access | 分享到:
Atomic absorption graphite furnaces are divided into two types: horizontal heating and vertical heating. The heating power of the horizontal heating graphite furnace is relatively higher. Therefore, C2 or H2 chiller can be chosen used to cool horizontal heating graphite furnace AAS, while for vertical heating graphite furnace type AAS, C1 or H1 is the superior choice.

Atomic absorption spectrometer is a spectrometer that analyzes the constant and trace metal elements based on the effect of the atomic vapor of the ground state of the substance on the characteristic radiation absorption. Atomic absorption spectrometer (AAS) detects elements in either liquid or solid samples through the application of characteristic wavelengths of electromagnetic radiation from a light source. Individual elements will absorb wavelengths differently, and these absorbances are measured against standards. In effect, AAS takes advantage of the different radiation wavelengths that are absorbed by different atoms.

The graphite heating electrode needs to be cooled and protected during the working process of the atomic absorption graphite furnace. After the work is finished, the graphite tube needs to be quickly cooled to room temperature to facilitate the next sample injection analysis.
